Apr 01, 2007· So i was told to use a helium mixture to gain the heat/penetration, but not increasing the firefeed, even decrease against welding with pure Argon. I wonder if somebody has experience in comparision to weld Aluminium 5083 also wire 5083, with pure Argon and Helium mixtures.
